Treasury Official to Present Award and Celebrate Opening of New Credit Union in Bedford-Stuyvesant Neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY

Washington, DC -- The Director of the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund, Donna J. Gambrell will join U.S. Congresswoman Nydia M. Velázquez and U.S. Congressman Edolphus "Ed" Towns at an event celebrating the opening of Brooklyn Cooperative Federal Credit Union’s first new branch office in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Director Gambrell will deliver remarks and present the Brooklyn Cooperative FCU with a check for a recent award received from the CDFI Fund.
