Public Affairs Specialist

Bill Luecht has been with the CDFI Fund since October 1995. Mr. Luecht is in the Office of Public and Legislative Affairs, which is responsible for representing the CDFI Fund and its staff to the public, media, other government agencies and Congress. Mr. Luecht is the CDFI Fund’s primary contact for members of the media and acts as the Fund’s spokesperson. In addition, Mr. Luecht manages all speaking requests for the CDFI Fund’s Director and staff; has oversight of the Fund’s communications and publications (i.e. newsletters, website content); and coordinates special trips/visits for the Fund staff and other Treasury Department and government officials.

Prior to joining the CDFI Fund, Mr. Luecht held various professional positions in fundraising and alumni/community affairs including several positions at Harvard University and as the major donor fundraiser for a human rights organization in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Luecht holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University.
