The CDFI Fund is soliciting public comment on the CDFI Certification Application and two Certification reports: the Annual Certification and Data Collection Report (ACR) and a new Certification Transaction Level Report (CTLR).

Frequently Asked Questions

In response to requests for clarifications of terms and procedures contained in the proposed CDFI Certification Application, ACR, and CTLR; and to assist organizations in developing responses to the solicitation for public comment, the CDFI Fund has provided a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document.


CDFI Certification Application

The CDFI Fund is soliciting public comment on proposed changes to the CDFI Certification Application. Below are information resources to aid in reviewing and submitting comments on the revised CDFI Certification Application.

Please note that the CDFI Fund has extended the deadline to submit comments. Comments must now be submitted by November 5, 2020. Please review the above Federal Register notices for more information. In addition, the CDFI Fund will continue to collect requests for clarification only of the terms and procedures contained in the proposed CDFI Certification Application. Requests will be reviewed by CDFI Fund staff for inclusion in any future updates to the FAQ document. Submission of comments or requests for clarification must be done via email to Tanya McInnis, Program Manager for the Office of Certification, Compliance Monitoring and Evaluation, CDFI Fund, at ccme@cdfi.treas.gov.
