Later this year, the CDFI Fund’s Awards Management Information System (AMIS) will get a new look. While there will be no change in its functionality, AMIS will look quite different to users. The change is occurring because the provider of the platform on which AMIS operates, Salesforce, is upgrading the user interface. 

The new Salesforce Lighting user interface replaces Salesforce Classic, which is nearing the time when it will no longer be supported by Salesforce. Salesforce Lightning will improve the AMIS user experience. However, it will take some time to develop familiarity with the new operating environment.

The CDFI Fund is not scheduled to formally transition to Lightning until mid-December, and informational material and training resources will be provided to help users navigate the updated AMIS interface in early November. Additional details about the transition will also be provided at that time. However, no action is required by AMIS users at this time.
