Washington, D.C. -- Today, CDFI Fund Director Kimberly A. Reed delivered a keynote address at the 2007 CDFI Institute, an annual conference hosted by the Coalition of CDFIs. In her remarks, Director Reed highlighted the CDFI Fund's strategies for expanded outreach across the nation, focus on financial literacy efforts, and a preliminary assessment of an independent evaluation report of the effectiveness of the CDFI program. At the conclusion of the speech, CDFI Fund senior staff joined Director Reed for a question and answer session. Representatives from a variety of CDFIs and CDEs participated.
